PARAGRAPH

 Tree Plantation

Tree plantation is one of the most important activities to protect our environment and make the earth a better place to live. Trees give us oxygen, food, wood, shade, and help keep our surroundings cool. They absorb carbon dioxide and reduce air pollution. Planting trees prevents soil erosion, controls floods, and supports wildlife by giving them shelter and food. Nowadays, due to rapid deforestation, our environment is facing serious problems like global warming and climate change. To solve these issues, we should plant more trees in schools, roadsides, villages, and cities. Everyone should take part in tree plantation programs and take care of the trees after planting them. Governments and organizations should also encourage people to grow trees through awareness campaigns. A single tree can make a big difference by providing clean air and improving biodiversity. So, tree plantation is not just an act of kindness toward nature but also a responsibility of every human being. Let’s plant more trees to build a green and healthy world for future generations.

The Life of a Farmer

A farmer plays a very important role in our society because they provide us with food. The life of a farmer is simple, hardworking, and full of challenges. He wakes up early in the morning and goes to the field to plow the land, sow seeds, and water the crops. He works all day under the hot sun and in the rain to grow food for everyone. Farmers depend on nature for their crops, so when there is too much rain or drought, they suffer a lot. Many farmers also face financial problems because they do not earn much money for their hard work. Still, they continue working with hope and patience. During the harvesting season, they are very busy collecting crops like rice, wheat, and vegetables. Though their life are full of struggles, they feel proud to feed the nation. We should respect farmers for their great contribution to our lives and help them improve their living conditions. A farmer’s life teaches us the value of hard work and honesty.

Traffic Jam

Traffic jam is a common problem in almost every city and town. It happens when too many vehicles are on the road at the same time, and they cannot move smoothly. As a result, people have to wait for a long time in the heat, noise, and dust. The main causes of traffic jams are the increase in the number of vehicles, narrow roads, poor traffic management, and careless driving. In many cities, rickshaws, buses, and private cars all move together, which creates more congestion. Traffic jams waste a lot of valuable time and fuel. Students often get to school late, and office workers reach their workplaces tired and frustrated. Ambulances and fire trucks also face trouble reaching their destinations on time, which can be very dangerous. To reduce traffic jams, we should build wider roads, improve public transport, and follow traffic rules properly. People should also avoid unnecessary use of private cars. If everyone drives carefully and follows the rules, traffic jams can be greatly reduced. A smooth traffic system is important for a peaceful and modern city life.

School Magazine

A school magazine is an important part of school life. It is a book or booklet published once or twice a year that contains writings by students and teachers. The school magazine helps students show their talents in writing, drawing, and creative thinking. It usually includes poems, short stories, essays, jokes, and articles about school events. There is an editorial board made up of teachers and students who collect and edit the writings before publishing them. The magazine also includes photographs of different programs like sports, cultural events, and prize-giving ceremonies. Through the school magazine, students learn how to express their ideas and improve their writing skills. It also helps to build confidence and encourages teamwork among students. Reading the magazine gives everyone joy and pride as it reflects the life and achievements of the school. Every student eagerly waits for its publication. Therefore, a school magazine is not only a source of entertainment but also a great means of learning and inspiration for all.

A Winter Morning

A winter morning is cold, misty, and quiet. The sun rises late, and everything around looks covered with fog. People can hardly see things at a distance because of the thick mist. The grass, leaves, and flowers are wet with dew drops that shine like pearls in the morning light. Poor people and children suffer a lot in the cold as they do not have enough warm clothes. Farmers and workers light fires to keep themselves warm. Many people enjoy drinking hot tea or coffee to get relief from the cold. Birds stay in their nests until the sun appears. Students and office-goers often find it difficult to get up early in such chilly weather. However, winter mornings are also beautiful and peaceful. Dates, juice, and delicious foods like pithas, molasses, and fresh vegetables make the season enjoyable. When the sunlight finally spreads, people feel happy and start their day with energy. A winter morning is truly calm and refreshing.

Story

1. A Greedy Farmer

Once there was a greedy farmer who always wanted more land. One day a rich man told him that he could have as much land as he could walk around in a day, but he had to return before sunset. The farmer started walking early in the morning and kept going farther because he wanted more and more land. At noon he was very tired, but his greed did not let him stop. When the sun began to set, he realized he was very far away and ran quickly to the starting place. He reached there just before sunset but was so tired that he fell down and died. In the end he needed only a small piece of land for his grave.

Moral: Greed brings sorrow.

2. Slow and Steady Wins the Race

One day a hare was very proud of his speed and laughed at the slow tortoise. The tortoise felt insulted and challenged the hare to a race. The race started and the hare ran very fast, leaving the tortoise far behind. After some time the hare thought the tortoise could never win, so he rested under a tree and soon fell asleep. Meanwhile the tortoise kept moving slowly but steadily without stopping. After a long time it passed the sleeping hare and reached the finishing line. When the hare woke up and ran again, it was too late because the tortoise had already won the race.

Moral: Slow and steady wins the race.

3. A Liar Cowboy

Once there was a cowboy who liked to tell lies for fun. One day he shouted, “Help! Help! A wolf is attacking the cows!” The villagers ran quickly to help him, but they found no wolf. The cowboy laughed at them. After a few days he did the same trick again and the villagers became very angry. One day a real wolf came and attacked the cows. The cowboy cried loudly for help, but the villagers thought he was lying again and no one came to help him. The wolf killed many cows and ran away. The cowboy felt very sorry for his foolish behavior.

Moral: Nobody believes a liar even when he speaks the truth.

4. The Fox Without a Tail

One day a fox fell into a trap and lost its tail. It felt very ashamed because other foxes might laugh at it. So it made a clever plan and called a meeting of all the foxes. The fox said that tails were useless and heavy and that all foxes should cut off their tails. The other foxes listened carefully, but one wise fox understood the trick. It said that if tails were really useless, the fox would have said that before losing its own tail. The fox without a tail felt very embarrassed and could not say anything. The other foxes understood the truth and went away.

Moral: Do not follow selfish advice.

5. Devotion to Mother (Bayezid Bostami)

Bayezid Bostami was a very pious and obedient son who loved his mother deeply. One night his mother asked for a glass of water. Bayezid quickly went to bring water, but when he returned he saw that his mother had already fallen asleep. He did not want to wake her because she needed rest. So he stood quietly beside her bed holding the glass of water. Hours passed and the whole night went by, but he patiently waited. In the morning his mother woke up and saw him still standing there with the water in his hand. She was very surprised and asked why he had been standing all night. Bayezid replied respectfully that he did not want to disturb her sleep. His mother became very happy and prayed for him.

Moral: One should always respect and serve parents.

6. The Honest Woodcutter

Once there was a poor but honest woodcutter. One day he was cutting wood near a river when his axe suddenly fell into the water. He began to cry because it was his only tool. A fairy heard his cry and came to help him. The fairy dived into the river and brought a golden axe, but the woodcutter said it was not his. Then the fairy brought a silver axe, but he again refused it. Finally the fairy brought his old iron axe and the woodcutter happily accepted it. The fairy was very pleased with his honesty and gave him the golden and silver axes as a reward.

Moral: Honesty is the best policy.
